Multimedia Journalism Major
I am a multimedia Journalism major here at Evangel University. For me writing about specific people is more interesting than current events, and breaking news. I love telling stories that bring joy, or compassion into people lives. Another aspect that I’ve fallen in love with because of this major is social media promotion. Before I took an advertising class I had no idea what social media promotion even was.
Now I feel passionately about it, and I love figuring out a brands target audience then curating a feed that connects to them. Getting to be creative, coming up with content, and thinking about design are just some aspects of why I love it. I think this is the aspect of the major that brings me the most excitement.
